Khama Ennis, MD, MPH, is a board-certified Emergency physician with over 20 years of clinical experience as well as training in acupuncture, lifestyle, and integrative medicine. She is also passionate about the role of physician diversity in health equity and in reducing disparities. She created Faces of Medicine, an independent documentary and storytelling project centering on the paths of Black female physicians in the US, to move the needle on representation in medicine. Dr. Ennis is currently serving as the Assistant Medical Director at University Health Services at UMASS Amherst.

Please join us to hear about her personal journey and how her experiences have informed her work.

This talk is part of the Amherst Woman’s Club Thursday Evening Series, which features remarkable and accomplished local women and their personal journey of challenges and achievements.
